Let me see here, there was a record 205 nominees, and a president who hasnt been around for a year and made no big changes got it. There had to be someone with better qualifications.

I'll say this, Barack Obama is a good person, and in a few more years I wouldnt have been as mad. I disagreee with him politically on every single issue but oh well.

Giving the Nobel Peice prize to someone because they say they will do something is stupid in my opinion. Give it to him after he does something. Not like there should be a hurry.

Yeah I don't really think he deserved this, at least not so early in the Presidency. It's almost been a year now since he was elected and I really have yet to see him live up to his campaign word. I mean he promised we'd be out of Iraq, yet he's heightening tensions by going into Afghanistan now.

There are people that are more deserving out there; the general populace just hasn't heard of their name. You hear Obama's name in the news so often that's what people generally make of it. I'm not sold on his diplomacy and promises in the least.

Ah, an award given to a man of excellent stature. Although I believe he was given the award a bit too early, I believe he deserves it for the excellence that he will soon bring to this country. Let's hope that I am not incorrect.

To be real I honestly don't think any person in office in America deserves any sort of peace prize with the couple of wars we have going on right now.

It's funny because Obama doesn't think he deserved, or did anything to deserve the award either. Hopefully he is motivated by what's still credible with the reward.

Though the people angry at Obama for him winning this reward are very silly because it's not like he had any power over himself winning anything.

although many people think he didnt deserve the award, including me, i think this will at least motivate him to actually do something big if he doesnt want to get a bad reputation. So in a way, it binds him to his promises. (hopefully)
