Can parents take whats not theirs?

typically if they DO take something, you can usually get it back--atleast thats how it was for me..

if punishment then yea its justice it is not the end of the world... is it? plus ur using some of her stuff when i get in trouble i would go outside and feel the fresh air to relieve my anger plus i buy some stuff for me and they take it away cuz its justice and if u do something wrong it will be justice kicking in to give u heads up its not bad and plus like everyone was saying its ur mom parents r older and wiser then small ppl and plus we all do dumb stuff sometimes so yea deal with it ull get it back even if u payed for it its not like they r keeping it till the end of the world or something like that

What your parents are doing is taking the proper steps for a punishment for you to learn your lesson. If the child did something that the parents didn't want him to do, they should indeed punish him, whether it's things they paid for or not. Not until a certain point, are the kids on their own. It'll be at that point when your parents will stop punishing you.

It may seem stupid to some people, but I think it's what has to be done.

Nah I'm jp. I hate when any family members do this. It's really annoying, but that's the whole reason why they do it. Whatcha gotta do is act like you don't care. Watch TV, go outside, stay entertained. You'll see.

you will owe far more to your parents than anyone else in life. that debt that you owe them can never be fully repayed. regardless of how strict or how mean they can be, they gave you a home. to me, thats something thats just invaluable to a child.

It's only wrong if your still living with them and they take the small things...
But if it was you getting punished for doing something really wrong and you get your car keys taken away... That's understandable...
