So you guys all seem to agree that if its for the sake of punishment parents can take whatever they want?

Well what if you do nothing wrong? Can parents take whatever they want for no reason?

I agree with your mom but she shouldn't take the whole wii. She should just take the power plug 2 avoid any damage 2 the wii!

Why does she have to take it though?
She can just tell you not to play, and listen to her.
That's it.
Taking it is a bit much
Just don't play for like, one day, then the next day everything will be normal.

My mom isnt like most moms.

Well I agree with that. If they didn't pay for it then they can't take it. Though they can if they did pay for it and gave it as a present. that's what I believe. Remember this though: you are living under their roof that uses electricity and heating they paid for, your eating the food they bought, your wearing the clothes they got you. Unfortunately you have to put all that into effect so, *shrug*, may be they have a bit of right.

I think she can, in my home my mom would just take the TV or cut the power to my room so that I couldnt play at all.

imo she shouldnt take it away. but ur mom pays for the electric and the tv, so she can still take away ur ability to play it.

they can do anything as long as you are living under their roof and are dependent on them. If she takes it for no reason then maybe you play too much.

i will say that if you did something wrong and your mom takes it away but if she takes it for no reason i don't understand it the only thing i can think of if you and you brother are getting bad grades in school but really you should sit you mom down with your brother and ask why she takes your stuff away.
