Well its hard to remember all the way back to May of 07'...
But i think i was more concerned about making friends, and getting comfortable on the site. I think I was a "Level 0" for like 10 minutes, cause I was posting ALOT, and FAST back then. I had a few hundred posts in a few days. Plus, when you're a Lower level, I think members get treated less-fair.

I jumped right in! I made a thread that got about 1,000 views in about four days.
But I was kind of ignored. :/ Seeing people with low posts (or Power bar) is usually enough to make people think you won't stick around. *cough* Mayhem *cough*

When I joined I searched through the forum and saw some people on like level 8 or 9 and they had posted over 2,000 posts. I don't think I will ever get even over 1,000 posts.

Lol, the first month I joined Nintendo Worlds people won't stop asking me how I got 30 posts a day. I got up to level 3 in one night I think. There was just so many interesting things to talk about. Still post count isn't too important to me. It's the quality that counts.

At any rate, Most of the members that are levels 7+ have been around longer, and even if their profile says that they've posted 5 times per day, that's not fully accurate. It just takes the total number of posts (not counting the posts that don't count) and divides that number by how many days it has been since you've registered. For example, if you registered and posted 10 times on that day, and not a single time the next, you'll have a registered 5 posts per day. Math equation: 10/2 = 5
