Guys.
The Swine Flu isn't a big deal. AT ALL. Only one person in the US has died, a baby. That baby was actually from Mexico, and brought over here for treatment. Unfortunately, it was too late. We have the vaccines to cure it as well. Just stay clean, wash your hand or use hand-sanitizer. Stop making a big deal out of it and move on with your lives.

I'm not too worried about it. I heard on the news today that people have gotten over it without even being seen by the doctor. The only thing that scars me is Me getting it and bringing it home to all my baby siblings. They wont be able to fight it off. I live in Nc though, and there are no confirmed cases here yet. But I saw that mexico had nearly 3000!!!

I just found out on the news that NY has the most Swine Flu cases out of any other state now with 50 cases..but I don't think this is highly concerning.

Guys, if you are scared of death because of the virus, remember this...
Everyone in the US (except for a baby that got the disease in Mexico to begin with) and most people in other countries have recovered with minimal complications. H1N1 is also treatable, and a majority of the infected that have been ill because of the virus have gotten a mild case. Most people just stayed at home and got better. The bird flu was supposed to be a pandemic. Did it happen? No. It killed a limited amount of people (about the regular amount for a normal flu season) and fizzled out. Will H1N1 be a pandemic? Probably not. It's going to end. In about 4-5 months, a vaccine will have been out for a while and we will probably have forgotten about this, look back, and laugh because we got worried for nothing. And if you do get it, you'll build a natural immunity to it and you will most likely not get it again. If you do, then you will get barely anything from the disease, if anything.

Anyways, it's not such a big deal. As long as you're not a baby, really old, or have a weakened immune system, then if you catch it, it's very unlikely that you would die from it. The news is making this sound like something worse than HIV, the black death, and chuck norris combined. :/
