And yea, what if the swine flu has killed people in mexico. Well, mexico is not exactly the richest or healthiest country, specially Mexico city so i would guess people are more likely to die there. But unless you are in mexico or a 20 month baby this virus will do nothing to you .

my friend Yasuo called me from japan on sunday asking about this.
he was really really worried XD he kept asking if i was ok. funny thing is that i had NO idea what he was talking about. Conversation kinda went like this:

(Ill even add in his borken english XD)

Yasuo: Mara-san! are you ok? I hear in news that flu come from pigs in mexico and you get very sick. Are you well?

Me: Do you mean the people in mexico? Why do you think they are pigs?

Yasuo: No, no, real pigs. They get American sick. Are you really well? If you aren't well tell me. D=

Me: ....hold on let me ask my sister about this.

*away from phone* "Ruthie! Is there some type of pig illness going around?"

Ruthie: You mean the pig flu?

Me: yeah thats it! from mexicans!

Ruthie:....Mara you are an idiot. Seriously. Pick up a news paper every once in a while or atleast watch the news. You wont get it from mexicans....stupid.

Im not worried, I live in FL, so there hasnt been anything here yet. But dont make a big deal out of it. It hasnt wiped out millions and will soon be under control. Just watch out

and besides, this is just another scare/uproar--like the Bird Flu.

give it like 6-8 months, and it'll be all but forgotten.

Yeah. Pretty scary. I heard they're working on a vaccine. However, it may take 9 to 10 weeks to work on and send out if my memory of the news serves me right.

Swine flu isn't really as bas as people are making it out to be.
Everyone is over reacting.
Heck, some relatives of mine that live over in Mexico even told us that it's not that bad... That us Americans are just being overly dramatic about something else.
As wii said, you'd probably get struck by lightning before you get infected/die with swine flu. ._.
As you can see, I'm not really concerned about it.
I just wish that all the racist remarks regarding it, would halt.
