Most important thing to know is this. As of now all but 1 of the people who died were in Mexico. One person died in Texas whom was 23 months old. You most likely are not in danger of dying from this unless you have a weakened immune system. But it is still something worth keeping an eye on, especially if people in your area have had confirmed swine flu (which as of now I think only 4 states have had confirmed infections. And even then it is not worth freaking out about, just wash your hands more often, don't let people cough on you... etc.

according to the associated press as of today--
Deaths: 159 in Mexico, seven confirmed as swine flu and rest suspected. One confirmed in the U.S., a 23-month-old Texas child. 159 people died out of the 2,498 suspected cases. Still not exactly a high death rate. Who said 2 brits died? |
