My definition of a strong person is someone who can handle themselves physically and mentally. Someone that has self-confidence and pride. This person can handle any hardships that he/she goes through and will pick themselves up and keep going. This person must also know when to recieve help without thinking less of themself. A strong person will not be influenced by peer pressure and will know what's best for him/her. It is not necissarily defined by how much skill this person has, but how much willpower that person has in order to obtain the skill that he/she needs to survive. A strong person is not limited to only his/her beliefs: That person keeps their mind open to other's ideas/beliefs. Friends could possibly be a factor in certain circumstances, but it is mainly determined on the mindset of the individual.

on the flipside there are situations that a person must protect another person and they mightn't have any strengthleft but they unlock their hidden potenial to do so. this would never happen if you had to do it for yourself |

Mark: Even though it depends mostly on the person's mindset, it could also depend on their friends. Julie: A person that has too much pride won't get very far in life.
Julie: A strong person has to have a balance in physical and mental strength.

A strong person, in my book, would be considered strong in not only mind, but body. They must believe in them selfs in order to grow, but even negative thoughts can help a person grow. This being said, the experience with both positive and negative thoughts and actions is necessary for a person to become stronger. Without that experience a person wouldn't know how to deal with trouble when it arises. Friends help you become stronger physically, but can only be there for you mentally. This is because only the person can decide if they can be stronger mentally.
And skills are derived from the experiences that has taken place. How can you be skillful at something if you have never experienced it? Skills have nothing to do with strength, that is all. |
