Wow, so it seems that everyone likes the old channel better (which is good, I do too). This change is just gonna make a lot of people mad and possibly make them leave the site. I really hope they realize what they're doing and change it back in the future...

Honestly, though I wasn't fond of the new channel at first, I've kind-of gotten used to its pros. and cons.

I actually like the Beta and the original just as much. They both have their advantages over the other. Plus they did say that they got positive feedback about the Beta channels on their forums. So it seems like they're not just saying. "Here we like our new channel so you have to go our way, whether you like it or not."

I do agree that it would be nice to have the choice. But I personally think people are slightly overeating especially compared to other things You Tube has done or plan to have done in the past...

its not TOO bad---but if they're making THAT standard---yeah, good luck winning people over w/that!

Its kinda slow, yeah--but a nice change.
I just hope it isnt permanent, or that they work out the kinks/bugs between NOW and mid-July

Well I don't mind the Beta channel existing, but they shouldn't FORCE us to switch. We should retain the choice to keep our old channels, and switch to Beta IF WE WANT.

The majority of the people on YouTube don't like it...so why force them to change to it...? I really do hope people do everything in their power to boycott this bull.
