Its rare but it happens. Ever used a final smash that supposedly captures opponents and it failed even though you obviously hit. For example I have used Links Final Smash and made contact with the opponent. The opponent would become stunned and shake as if they were caught but then the whole thing would just stop and Link wouldn't attack he'd just cancel the whole attack and the final smash would be gone...this ever happen to anyone else with Link or other characters with simlar Final Smashes?

I've seen this kinda stuff happen in a few matches with Ike players. That does suck when it happens, lol.

hmmmm? lol yeah that happens to me too (ike)

its anoying when u fail with your FS but when u are the lucky and ur opponent fails his FS its better for you

but i dont understand what you mean with Link's FS
can u explain me wat happened to you please

Psh...that sh!t happened to me like 7 times already.
I know what you mean S.C.A.M
They would just do the stunned animation but nothing happens and your FS has been used up. It's weird...I think it only happens if you BARELY caught someone..so they sorta...slip off...lolz

But who plays w/ FS's nowadays? xD

The Ike thing happened to me once, when I had the final smash then threw a pokeball with Latios and Latias. I caught my opponent in Greath Aether and then the pokemon knocked him out of it....it was weird O__o

Final Smashes in general were a failure, most of them either have the entire stage as a hit box ( like Mario for example ) or a very very small box ( like Link, Toon Link, and Diddy Kong )

Items are fun in non competitive battles! Well some items...few items...like 5 items. XD

yea someone was using marth against my ike and i used my b move right before he hit me and i didnt die woot

Well thats not so much as Final Smash failure as it is taking advantage of stun-less frames. Now if you just stood there and he attacked, hit you and nothing happened (damage, etc.) That would be a wtf moment.
