how much is "winning" important?

I'm eh about winning. Though i have a little trouble using more than one char if i can't keep the matches at least even, or close. So i switch back to wario a lot.

Though I really like using ganon when i can. Though usually unless the opp is holding back, like i do with some people when they do ganon, it usually ain't gonna be even.

Recently, after going to AIB, I've not so much care about winning per se, but I've learned to care more about gaining the ability to win srsface matches. Hence why I've played a lot more relentless and campy lately, unless people ask me not to be so gimpy or w.e. So i can get better at playing ghey and campy. Since anyone who plays me knows i play almost borderline retardedly aggressive in 4fun matches.

This is true with me, as well. But I'm just a guy who likes winning all the time, just cause I hate losing. Why? Cause it just makes me mad. I just sometimes can't control my emotions for losing. Now just cause all I care about is winning mostly, don't think I like to brag and/or have a big ego. I don't do that kinda douche-like stuff. I still show good sportsmanship and I never brag if I beat someone. I may get really upset, but I try not to let it get the best of me to turn me into a douche. I just have trouble accepting losses sometimes. Not all the time, though. I can handle losses most times, but not all the time. Like I said before, if it's a tournament or I'm just on a losing streak in friendlies, then those are usually the times that provoke my anger.

For me there are three type of matches.

Serious Match: Go all out to win and use any cheap/gay tactics. For tourney matches.

Friendlies: Use secondaries or random characters in somewhat serious matches. Items still off, cheap tactics seldom used. This is what you will see most of the time from me.

Lulz matches: Random characters and stages with items on and we do stupid stuff. :P

Mine are:

Serious Match: My preferred play style 90% of the time, friendlies or not. I do three stock, no items, nueturals only, and go all out with my 100% best.

Serious-Friendly Match: Same as ^, except the rules can be extremely loose. I also may use characters I suck with, because after all, they are friendlies. BUT, I'll still show no mercy and go all 100% out, however at the same time I'll play with items, banned stages, computers, etc. These matches I don't really care if I lose or win. It's just to have fun. But I'd appreciate it if you play serious along with me. I don't like going easy on people, and I don't like people going easy on me.

Lulz Matches: Nuuuuuu. I don't do those. They're very boring. I like to always play serious against other serious opponents, just that I'll let the rules be anything in the world. It could be a fifteen stock match with computers on hanenbow. I don't care. I'll do anything but be random characters, and do stupid stuff. That gets boring very fast for me. I need constant action and thrills !

So yeah.....I'm a tourney-****************** ._. but I still have some sense of fun I just like playing seriously all the time. I can still have fun with loose rules.

When I play friendlies I play a little serious. I don't edge hog or fight with any cheap tactics at all. I honestly get mad when others do it to me. I play SSBB very seriously, but not so serious to the point that I always have to win.. I don't like losing to be honest but when I do I always kick butt in the next match to purposely get revenge. Lol

Fun is the most important thing to me. Even in important matches, it doesn't matter who wins as long as both players had fun.

yeah i use cheap tatics sometimes when i have a huge match and i know i can't win DX . Like that one time i spamed on LadyHood cuss we both had 148% damage or so and i tried to prevent any of her huge smashes DX but on friendly matches i just play regularly

I use a few cheap tactics... i ledgehog when ever the chance arises, and I stalk the person so they can hit back. But thats more of a skill thing. One thing I would never do is spam. And I never stalk for more than 50 or so damage. I just think its more of a strategy, than a cheap trick...
