Another question about Snake.

What's the difference between the C4 and the butterfly-bomb-thing (don't know what it's called) other than looks?
i'm pretty sure stale move negation applies to the mortars you shoot

The butterfly c4 is just for the lulz, a metal gear solid 3 reference

Alright, thanks.

I'll keep the mortar negation in mind.

Could've sworn the butterfly thing was different, though...dang easter eggs.

extreme speed is just for recovery. It doesn't attack at all, and you can curve it. theres something about using it to cling to walls, but I'm not sure how to do it.

If you use the recovery toward a wall it will automatically connect to a wall.

I've got another question...can you tech another player? I don't exactly have a vid for it but I'll tell you what happened. Stage was Corneria and it was offline. Me and Drew were just messing around and I used sheik's b-up to get back on stage and Drew was down there with 180% or so. We both flew up and Andrew suddenly stopped in mid flight. Then I asked "What did you tech? O_o" and Drew said "Umm I teched you ._." It could have possibly been a footstool but I've never seen a footstool performed by someone going at that velocity and percentage.

It IS! Butterfly C4s deal more damage than the regular explosive, I think its 13 % more or something.

If it was a foostsool, you would have been pushed down.

If you didn't get pushed, then I believe that, if Shiek used Up-B first, the landing teleportation coul have made him stop.

Together with an explosion, Shiek's Up-B also generates wind effects. Upon going invisible, you pull your foe; When you land, you push him away (with wind).

With (your enemy on ) high %, the distance and speed which these forces act on your foe get stronger, thus being sometimes able to stop completely any movement in any direction, or even COUNTER it and send them back.

A common edgeguard my friend uses is staying on the edge(hogging) of the stage with shiek. When I get near, he fastfalls and does Up-B, sometimes pushes me away.

Anyways, my guess :P

kinda late but mortars WOULD go stale, but staleness would increase at each point of contact not launch

so if the first 2 miss or are shielded the last one will still do full damage

What are some good follow-ups I can do with a Tink's Zair?
All I do is grab, bomb, or Usmash and they get predictable.

try to follow how your opponent reacts to each zair and created according follow ups. If they shield alot, keep grabbing. If they try to avoid a grab, do more usmash or aerials. its all about decent prediction and finding whatever pattern they have to it.
