Regarding Duplicate threads and the use of the search feature(A MUST READ).

As the SSBB forum enters nearly a year of existence, we have all seen our fair share of duplicate threads. Many of us continue to post the same threads over, and over again without any knowledge that there has already been one made. In order to avoid this, when making a thread, you need to question yourself first "Has this topic already been made?". In order to figure that out, you need to use the search feature. Where is the search feature? Well, it's near the top middle of your screen as displayed here:



After that, you need to type in key brawl terms of your topic to determine whether the topic has been already been made.

For example, let's say you wish to find out if a favorite character thread has been made since you wish to consider to make one:


1) Type in "favorite character"

2)If you found a thread with the topic you desired, please post in that thread such as shown in this example above. If not, then when making a thread, try to make it very significant and put some thought. For example, like "Which stage would be best for this character (insert here) and why?" This is probably a thread that would not generate any kind of importance: "This character (insert here) is horrible(without any kind of explaination.)"

That's all there is to make a thread in the SSBB forum! Please keep this in mind that if this continues to happen, there will just be more deleting and closing of threads that are insignificant or otherwise those that have already been made.
