I was pretty p*ssed off about the incident and about ready to give up on the site and using friends codes. But today when I checked the site I had PM's from friends offering to come over help. They were also offering fruit to replant. This restored my faith.

Just a random tip that i personally think would help benefit the topic and anybody that reads this post, but only add people who are not new, and has a reputation here. I wouldnt add anybody that has less then 50 post personally and has been here for atleast a month and been active. because this is a great community but just anybody can sign up. This will not garuntee you from being robbed, but will help allot by a long shot.

I would like to add that while I only have 26 (now 27 posts), I've caught on quick and I'm certainly not one of those people who steal or take things like that...I think you should consider age as a factor too. Only add people you've had post conversations with or who have helped you, etc. Add people with knowledge about the game.

I came on here to find people to game with but didn't end up in the "Find a Friend" thread because I wasn't sure who to add. It just takes some judgment and a little bit of luck.

Age has nothing todo with it. here in las vegas, there is 5 year olds in a gang, there is 85 year olds in a gang. Just like being in a gang, anybody can steal.

I am not saying you are more likley to steal, or you are a theif or a hacker. Its just that you HAVE no reputation here. So I would not know you well enough based off of other user comments.

I wouldn't go with NO reputation, since there are some people I could mention for a background check. I just didn't know I had to list them in my profile. Although, I fully understand your point.

I agree that age has nothing to do with your capability to steal, although it does go along with maturity (but not in all circumstances). Which, is the ONLY reason I mention it. I tend to base my opinions more on post comments, knowledge about the game, and personal conversation, which we've had before.

I also know you have the ability to pick things up in my house or my neighbors' houses, which makes me a little nervous to invite you over. Capesh.

No hard feelings tho. Let's get back on topic though so this thread can stay open.

I had my first bad experience with someone coming to my town. I got his friend code from this site. He came to my town and was shaking fruit off the trees (after I asked him if he needed fruit and said no) and asking for free stuff over and over again. Also he ran though the flowers and now some of them are gone. After he shook the fruit off the trees he just left them lay on the ground. I worked hard to get my town nice. It really made me mad. I did have another person visiting my town at the time and he kept asking them to add him to his friend code and wanted to go to their town right away. You just have to be very careful who you let in your town. Needless to say he left and I deleted him from my friends list.

this happened a few weeks ago!
i saved up 25 gold rose( really hard work)!
i went to a someones town to clone em!
as soon as i put them down!
she ended the party n deleted me off her list!
so its took me a week or so to make em again!

her name is samantha from pebble!
i'll get her fc 4 u later!
