Okay, we have one of these for Wild World, methinks we're in need of one here since i've heard a number of cases of people ruining this game now...

Use this thread to report any sad lowlifes that you've been unfortunate enough to let in your town only to have them use their "OMG 1337 HaX0r skillz!!!1" to ruin your game, by cutting down all your trees, using hacks to break your town in any way or "seeding" (still not confirmed possible, but still).

Post any offender's username, the name they were using in the game and their friend codes here, and of cource, tell us what they did, and they will be named and shamed in this thread, and if I have my way, major offenders will be met with serious consequences.

Goes without saying, but please don't post petty stuff like "Pikamonruulz766 just came to my town and upset Pudge, plz ban him" and please keep chit-chat to a minimum.

i have a question what if people just put another persons information
on purpose just to get them banned when they didnt really do anything
wouldnt you need evidence to ban someone?

Don't lots of people have that information though? I've registered quite a few people called Link from Hyrule...

the list would be more productive if you mention the friend code too.... because the person can always lie what the characters name and town was.... meanwhile... you can simply look up friend codes here.

Agreed on both points. Also, try and keep this to Nintendo Worlds if you can.

For someone to get banned for this, they'd have to be pretty bad, and be reported by more than one person, put it that way.
But, if you're found to be reporting someone that's innocent, it'd be you that would probably get the banhammer, so I wouldn't advise it.

What if there's fraud =O I mean, what if a group of people come and falsely say "Omg that Waffle guy is a hacker and did stuff to my town!!!" I would believe that there is some kind of fault involved in this...

It sounds like there isn't much you can do about frauds and such, I'd suggest to just be a little wary of anyone whose name is posted here. I mean, if it's a user brand new to NW with 3 posts and a blank profile posted here, you probably might not want to let them in your town, but if it's someone with awards and posts and who's obviously contributed to the community, well... Use your own judgment.

How about members here who are found out to be stealing from other members? Shouldn't this also b considered? I mean some items if or when they get stolen can b worth a lot of bells to buy or may not b able to buy that item at all. So in my personal opinion if some one steals something from you they should b considered as well..

I like this thread. And if you may add (if its good). That if anyone has a SD card. You can take the pics of the person that is doing the hacking. And upload them here. Just saying this.
