Im probobly gonna get a Wii for christmas, and this is a game im super interested in. Now, whats so great about getting the game with the Wii talk included?

you can talk to other people that have the game and also u can send msgs to each other instead of typing you can speak when u download the wii speak channel

You don't need to download the wii speak channel to speak with people using the Wii Speak in the game.

Why not read some reviews Kayla. Everybody has different opinions and I personally think this game gets boring after 2 weeks =D

Help~ I was hoping for a "Dummies Guide to Visiting Other Towns". I'm sure someone here can help me out. I have added two friends, entered their friend codes, names and towns and yet I can't go and visit them. I also thought I would be able to send them mail, but their names and towns are not on the mailing list. Are they just not online? Have I done something wrong? Do I need to send an invitation? How will they know when I am online? How do I know when they are online? I'm exicted about having visitors and visiting others but just can't seem to get anywhere! It's sad...... so very, very sad!

O.k. let's take this one at a time:

They have to have also added you AND be online with their gates open when you try to visit. If they aren't, you will not see them on the list of available towns to visit when you go to Copper and talk to him about going out.

You will not be able to send mail to someone in another town until after you have visited them or had them visit at least once.

Probably, probably not and no.

In order to make it possible to visit someone or to make it possible for them to visit you, they must add your FC to their roster and you must add their FC to your roster. (The town name and character name are not important; they will update to the correct town/character name the first time you meet up with them).

The only way you will know, in the game, if someone's town is open for you to visit is by going to Copper (the dog on the right inside the town gate) and telling him you want to go out. You will connect to Nintendo WFC and then Copper will give you a list of towns available for you to visit.

If the list is empty, one of a couple things is happening:

• None of your added friends have their towns open
• They did not add you to their friend code roster
• They made a mistake when adding you to their friend code roster
• You made a mistake when adding them to your friend code roster

The only way that someone will know, in game, that YOUR town is open for them to visit is if you go to Copper (the dog, again) and say "Invite Guests"... he will open your gate and your town will show up on the lists of people who have added your friend code when they choose to go out.

Duchess, Thank you so much for answering ALL of my questions. You are very kind to take the time to answer!
Now I wonder if there are there any other hints I should know about visitors or being a visitor? Is there visiting "etiquette"? Should I always bring gifts? Should I empty my pockets of everything so as to not be construed as a moocher or should I take stuff to barter with? Should I water flowers? Just visit folks? I also saw somewhere that I shouldn't travel with a ton of bells? Is that true?

I can hopefully give you some answers:

-Dont take items unless they say its ok(if you have wiispeak) ask them. Most the time people are cool with you shopping/Bug/fishing. Alot of people that are new to the game go to other peoples towns to trade fruit.

-The Bell situation I have never had a problem with Traveling with Bells. Unless I am wrong I have never had a problem with traveling with Bells.

-Dont Run though someones town. Alot of People get pretty irritated if you run though town and wear their grass away or destroy their flowers. So walk when your in other peoples towns.

-When you go to peoples town just have fun and try to be respectful and others should be respectful to your town too. If you find someone being totally obnoxious you can kick them out by Clicking the save button and it should say end party.

How do you catch a Mole Cricket?

qhwn you hear a wierd noise, dig with a shouvle for it. If you dig it out of the ground, you will see a wierd bug apear out of nowhere and the noise is louder, you then catch it with your net.

Do remember that Mole Crickets have a habit of walking over holes so don't worry if you dig a lot of holes. Mole crickets are also known to make a sound like a high pitched buzzer so be sure you hear that before digging.
