Ever been stuck, or clueless on what you should name your new Animal Crossing: City Folk town? Look no further, this is the thread where we list potential names in which others can look to try and get an idea of what they want to name their new town. Please No spam like "Name it Hyrule!1!!". Please post as many suggestions as you can in 1 post per thread page. I'll moniter this thread and add any new town name suggestions to the thread list. Let's help some newbie to AC:CF find him or herself a cool, town name

This is a good idea. I'll add in my 2 cents before anyone starts asking...
1. A common trend nowadays is to use video game references in town names. Common ones include in-game towns or areas such as Delfino (Mario Sunshine), Hyrule, (LoZ), Celadon, (Pokemon), etc.
2. Although lacking originality, it is also common to use the actual name of where the person lives, be it Virginia, USA, Canada, Mexico, Istanbul, wherever.
3. If all else fails, try looking into a personal aspect of your life. What do you do? Who are you? Let the name take the image of you. Do you skate? Name it something skater related. Are you into sports? Roll with it. Maybe you just love Cheetos and want to live in Cheeto Paradise (even though it won't fit...).
But whatever you pick can't be changed without deleting the entire file, so you gotta pick wisely.

i named my town Earth. i like Earth az my town name. i couldnt come ^ wit nething so i named it Earth.

I thought that the town names could only be 8 letters long?

Anyway, I like the name Space. It could be "outer", "open", "empty"... simple, yet interesting. o_O

1.) Shire. The AC town's remind me of my vision of shire while reading the books, and the people look just like hobbits rofl. Shire is particularly good for those in the midlands region of England-inparticular the Hall Green-Yardley area, and this is where Tolkein lived-and many fo the places in his books were inspired by places nearby. The Shire was inspired by Sarehol Mill, for example.This is my animal crossing:lets go to teh city town name.

Maybe if we get enough town names this can get stickied so all the new members can view this on the main page of the AC:CF forum and not search pages and pages for this thread. Keep 'em coming guys!
