Homebrew Help - October 23rd Update
Greetings, homebrewers!
As most of you know, the october 23rd update blcoked the use of WADs, MPlayer, installation of homebrew channel, etc. Alas, I have a good news and a bad one. Good: Team Twiizers released Homebrew Channel 9, you caan update it if you wait a few seconds in your already-installed HBC Bad: You're gonna have to reinstall all of the programs that weren't made as DOLs, since the exploit which ELF files used got sealed. Thats all I guess. Im updating ma system now xD ====================================== EDIT Oh, adding onto this, a new hack has been made, so you can install IOSS51 WITHOUT fixing the exploits, which means you will still be able to homebrew while gaining access to the new shop channel. Homebrew Channel IOSS Updater simply run the single included DOL to install. more on that here

I"m not sure what you mean. Do you mean all the .elf files can't be used anymore after we update the homebrew channel?

There's an ELF>DOL converter out there, so it shouldn't be that big a deal.
