My poor, poor, DS

My DS's top half is barely hanging on with copper wires and the light thing came off and on top of that my top half's screen only show really dark objects. My DS can work but the top screen. So does anyone have a solution besides buying a new DS.

Mine did EXACTLY the same thing about a week ago.

I managed to crudely put it back together with some super glue, but my R button wouldn't work after that, which isn't exactly practical. =/
I've bin forced to get a new one...

But yea, try super glue, it's your friend. ^-^

Well, when something like that happens, you should really look into buying a new DS. If you don't plan to, or can't afford one right now, then you should look into getting games that use the bottom screen only, like Mario Kart DS, Phantom Hourglass, and Kirby Canvas Curse.

Well my Hinge on my newer ds cracked but lucky I had a warnanty so it was a quick fix. But Nintendo charges 75.00 for a fix for that problem.

If its still under warranty just call up nintendo and they will fix it, if not well...how close is the electronics store??

For the games that generate their FCs using the cart and the ds then you'll be given a new FC for those games yes, there aren't many games that don't do this so it's safe to say all of your games will have new FCs.

It depends on the game but generally speaking, it'd be a safe bet to say yes.

Mine did exactly the same thing. ): I managed to fix the top screen back on, but like you've said the top screen goes all dark so you can't really see it.
The best thing to do is to buy a new DS. I know it's a pain about loosing all your friend codes, but atleast you can start a fresh? ;P
