My Wii isn't reading my discs!!!!!

I turned on my Wii & it started fine, then I put in my guitar hero disc in there, it instantly spit it out (wtf?) then I tried some other games, it took them in but the discs stopped spinning & the screen said it was reading them (again, wtf?) I unplugged it a few times & it still did that. I'm really getting irritated & frustrated. Can anyone please help me?

Mine does this too. It's caused by overheating. I suggest unplugging your Wii whenever you aren't using it, as the Wii still generates heat when it's not turned on. If it still won't read, you'll have to ask Nintendo to clean your lens.

You can buy cans of compressed air at any computer shop, usually at electronics stores as well. You'll probably find them in plenty of other shops too.

You wouldn't have to open up your Wii to blow in the drive slot or the exhaust/intake vents so you shouldn't need to open it for compressed air to get in but it would help if you're planning on actually "cleaning" your Wii.
