When you say "lag", do you mean the pointer on the screen doesn't move as quickly as it should? Like it doesn't follow your movements? Anyways, has this happened with another Wiimote that you've used on your system, whether it's yours or a friend's?

Well, if youve tried replacing the Wiimote batteries, then it's probably the Sensor Bar. Move closer to the Tv. Also, if you are using a wireless sensor bar, then replace its batteries too. Weak batteries make the Sensor Bar produce a weak signal, which causes unstable cursor flickering.

Try playing in a dark room.
your wiimote is probably picking up light beams. all the wii sensor is is two lights in a bar. |

Thats not true. The Sensor Bar releases special infared light. If it was normal light, then you would actually see light coming from it, now wouldn't ya?

It moves at the exact same rate you move, you can't change the sensitivity of it like you can do with a mouse on a PC. If you want it to move quicker you physically need to move quicker. |

Or maybe the sensitivity setting on your Wii is too high or too low. As hillgroover said, the Wiimote moves as you do, but since you're complaining, try checking it under Wii Settings. A test will commence and show you if the sensitivity is unbalanced. When you point at the screen at that time, only 2 dots should appear. Try that and let us hear the results.
