"Error Occurred. Press the eject button and remove the disc. Turn the power off and follow the instructions in console manual." ive read the manual and it says and i followed it all but it still doesn't work but when i try another game it works perfectly fine it only does it on SSBB and it wont even let me get to the wii menu. and the wierd thing is ive been playing the thing for months now and its never done that PS. every now and then when i was playing tourney and i had max players it would randomly freeze during a match and continuly make a buzzing noise i had to pull out the power supply to make it stop. plz help i really want to play |

Have you even turned off the power during game play?
I had this also happen, and I just had to clean the disc, and after about 3 days it finally loaded.

Just a question, but do you or anyone else in the household smoke? If so, that can affect the performance of your Wii. Also, the reason that it only affects Brawl is because it is the only Dual-Layer Wii game so far, and it uses a different laser to read it. That's why your other games work.

I've had this happen to me before... all i did was followed the directions on the screen and it worked, but you did that already... hmmm... it could be your wii itself, that different laser that Ruone was talking about might be damaged so your wii wouldn't be able to play brawl... do you still have your warranty because if you do send it to Nintendo. i heard that they had a very fast return rate, so that is one option... I hope this helped ^_^

it doesnt have to be smoke, it can be dust that can get in and also.. have you tried the game at your friends house to see if it works at theirs?

i just noticed you had a thread in here as well.
im just going to continue my answer in the one that goes. If everything else fails... do not try to do this (clean lense) on your own since you might ruin your system then it's all over. just contact nintendo and get it fixed, i got mine fixed and back in less then a week. "If you are experiencing "No Disc Found" or other disc read errors, game lockups ("frozen" screen), or other audio or video irregularities with this game, then there is likely an issue with the Wii console. Nintendo has set up a free and expedited repair process" fill this out here: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/rep...rm_us_ssbb.jsp and follow the instructions, yeah it might be annoying but it's the way to go. here is my experience with nintendo : http://www.wiipals.net/Forum/f34/nintendos-repair-service-29723.html yeah so now you know the problem and how to fix it |

Your best bet is to try it on another wii and if it works you have found the source of the problem "Wii" send it in to ninty and have them fix it, hope u registered for that extended warranty when u got ur wii O_o
In either case that's ur best bet. Even if u have to pay nintendo to fix it its waaaay less that buying a new wii,btw that buzzing doesn't sound like a good thing I would send that wii in today. Hope this help. Posted via Mobile Device |

yep, agreeing the pdark
eliminate any possibility's you can first, in this case the disk then you can either save for a new disk or get the wii fixed, simply really Oh and ninman had a similar prob with his MK disk, he had it proffesional cleaned and polished to make sure the surface was spotless/scratch free and it was still the disk His game store swapped it for free sometimes optical media degrades, maybe you'll be lucky

ok here is wat im going to say
1. i have a mod chip in my console that allows me to play any burnt game or dowloaded game for wii and gamecube 2. the wii is out of warranty 3. the game that was downloaded has been claimed to have the same problems as i have eg. the freezing during tourney, another thing is the file that i downloaded has had the movies and other stuff removed to make the file fit on a disk. 4. i have cleaned the leanse myself without stuffing it up and it wasn't even dirty 5. i think it might be the game file itself (the downloaded 1) |

I assume that the game is SSBB and you are using a DVD 5 as opposed to DVD 9 If it has worked I suspect the disk has degraded, try using a better Disk (verbatim are very good disks, but I don't burn wii games so U don't know) If it's never worked it's more than likely the ISO file and you will have to download it again or dowload the full file and use a dual layer drive to burn it Oh and I can see this thread being deleted as you are talking about downloading file but I'll assume you mean back up
