SD card
My computer broke and im not sure if i can fix it. i have a spare computer but it has no sots for SD cards. I wanted to know if i could take the piece that has the lot for the SD card and other stuff from the other broken computer and install it into my spare computer.
Also, do i need some software or what ever? please answer or give me links.

It depends how the card reader is connected but it should be possible, it's either going to be connected via a usb header on the motherboard or via an internal usb port, you just need to make sure the same connection exists on the other computer before you transfer it.
Your alternatives are an external multi-card reader or just a usb sd reader either would be sufficient. |

i think its connected to the mother board. is this process difficult or is it just connecting the cables where ever they go?

Again, it depends on what the motherboards offer in terms of connections but yes it's just a matter of unplugging it from computer A and plugging it into computer B
The connection will most likely look like this; ![]() or possibly this; |
