Transfer the important data you had on the SD card to the Computer get your data for the hacks and such put them on your Wii and then put your saved data files you transfered onto the Computer to your SD card orginally how it was.

Actually, it does work on the newest update for the Wii, you just have to download a seperate version of the Twilight Hack.

ON TOPIC

Just copy everything that's in your SD Card, make a new folder, name it whatever you want, and paste all the stuff in there...that's what I did. It should work...

Then just proceed normally...and when your done, copy everything in the folder and paste it back into your SD Card.

Unless the card is full you can leave that data where it is, most of the files for homebrew are small so you don't need much space

the wii cannot overwrite your data so it won't be a problem, it can only write to empty spaces (the wii will call 'em blocks)
