vc nes games wont work
i downloaded a few nes and Snes games but they never show up all i see is a black screen when i put it on can anybody help?

What firmware version are you using?
What cables are you using to connect the Wii to your TV? If it's component cables, try going back to composites as some games do have problems that Nintendo are fixing, or you could try going into component interlace mode by pressing Z+A+2 at the same time (obviously needs the nunchuk attached). Have you tried changing the display settings on the Wii? (576 to 480 or vice versa) |

everything else works even the n64 games i got except the nes and snes games

Ok, let's see if I can put this a simpler way...
In order for anyone to help you, you need to reply here with the following information; Version of firmware you're using. To find this; on your Wii, go to Wii Options | Settings, the number and letter at the top right are what you need. As well as that, you also need to tell us which set of cables are coming from the back of your Wii and going into your TV. Do they have a 21pin Euro connector, a set of yellow/red/white connectors or a set of red/green/blue/white/red connectors. After that, it would be nice if you could try running the game in component interlace mode, this means that when you run the game you press the Z, the A AND the 2 buttons all at the same time on the WiiMote and Nunchuk controllers and include what happens. Can you also confirm that you've tried changing the display settings on the Wii by changing from 576 to 480 or from 480 to 576 and from widescreen to normal or from normal to widescreen. |
