Wii Message Board: Main Uses?

Alright, so I have a wii. And with that comes the Wii message board. Now I'm well aware of the fact that you can send messages and such to other wii's so long as both wii's have registered each other. My question goes like this: If people do use this feature, what is the main reason you use it?

Well it's a calendar also. That one of the main uses...other wise...I am not sure.

Well people use it to chat with friends. It's a good way to tell a person "Hey let's race" because when you send a message the blue light on your wii comes out and signals you got a message and you will be notified. It's a little useful feature.

Like the person before said it can also be used as a calender and as well as that it comes with notices from video games and even updates for channels.

This is for people with REAL problems, not just questions for peoples uses of a certain function. If you have a gaming problem post in this section if not take it to wii disscussion! Thank you.
