Wii Won't Play Games

Hey my Wii won't play any of my games except for my Vitual console and WiiWare games, every time I start up my Wii and go into the game channel I get this message:

An error has occurred. Press the eject button and remove the disk, then turn the Wii console off and refer to the Wii Operations Manual for help troubleshooting.

I have no idea where I put the stupid manual and I am stuck, can anyone help?

It just so happens I have the manual right here. LOL Under the problem "Game Disc will not operate in console", the manual states that you should clean the disc by wiping the disc in a circular motion from the center towards the outside with a soft cloth. It also states that you should try turning off the Wii , ejecting the disc, and turning the Wii back on, but I'm sure you did that. Tell us how it did.

Yeah the reason is that it is probably very scratched on the disc. Try putting in another disc to see if it's the disc or your wii's problem. There are many ways to clean a disc. A simple google should help

Hmm... the manual also says that the games will only work in the region where the game was bought. o_O Did you happen to take a trip to Canada and buy a game there? LOL JK

Well, maybe it's the Wii itself. Does it make a loud buzzing noise when you're trying to load the game? Aside from that, all I can say is to plug the Wii into a different wall outlet, but I don't know if that'll affect the game's performance. Eh, give it a try anyways.

Maybe the wii has scratches? Yeah the guy before me is true. I'm reading the manual right now and thats mostly what it says.

Just try another game real quick. I have a game that's perfect too but doesn't work...

Have you played this game before?

The lens on the Wii's disc reader are probably busted/dirty. Send it off to Nintendo saying that Brawl doesn't work (which is doesn't ) OR you can buy a lens cleaner disc that cleans the inside of the Wii. (The lens, of course.)

This guy is the only one who posted with the correct ansewer.

If only one of your games doesn't work, then ya, it's the disk. But if all of your games don't work, then it's the lens reader. Send it in to Nintendo, or try cleaning it yourself (not recommended).
