The new official application thread for the Nintendo Worlds Graphics team, DSigners.

First off, I'm going to explain the group really.

DSigners:
We are a team intended for the purpose of being resources and designers for our community.
We make signatures, avatars, user bars, banners anything we can really use.

NO. It is not required for a DSigner to have a shop.

We also like DSigners to help out with forum projects, buttons, gifts, icons, etc. Things we use around the forum. MP Award material.

(Please only post if you really are interested, I'm not going to lie, it's a tough job. You are free to apply whenever, but I recommend taking time from the first application to improve if you come back to try.

The Guideline:
Here is the guideline (not a requirement sheet)... but a list of recommendations for what you be capable of as a DSigner.

You can talk the talk, let's see you walk the walk!
To know the following terms.
Render, Stock image, Focal Point, Lighting, Concept, Composition, Depth, Flow...etc.

Technique! Technique!
Pen-tooling, Clipping Masks, C4D, Rendering, using Cinema 4D (not the program, but that would be AWESOME if you're a Cinema user).
Smudging (Settings), Tracing, etc.

Excuse me? Customer Service!
As a DSigner, we expect mature and smart members who are morally friendly. DSigners must be able to cope with other members and not get so angry easily. No, unfortuantely DSigners don't get paid, but we're still nice.

Why you would like to be apart: I love Art. Although I can't freehand draw IRL worth crap, I do believe that I have a future in graphics, even if it doesn't show now. And I want to be able to use this site as a source of new ideas for me ;D

Experience: 1 month of GIMP and 4 months of Photoshop
Programs: mainly CS3 ext. but if I re-install gimp on my laptop...
Why you would like to be a part: Well, I started making graphics 5 months ago, and I really like it. I'd love to be able to help out the site. Although I most likely won't open a shop, I'll still see if I can take some requests to help out the strain on some of the current dsigners right now.

It's helpful, but we don't really use animation that often.
Granted the whole team knows how, but we don't need the skill much.
