Can anyone refer to me a site were i can find a variety of brushes for Gimp and brushes for other programs that are compatible with Gimp?

yeah deviantart.com is pretty much the only site you'll need for brushes.

Try out insane fractals, it's definately my favorite. Or arcane circles if you're into the whole full metal alchemist trasmutation circle look =P.
