Cant Download GIMP Brushes

I try to download them but it cant find them. I go to DeviantArt.. pick a brush then go to download and I download it.

Then I go to where I saved it and double click and it says it cant find it or something. Then it just takes me to the internet =/.

I cant get it on my gimp so I am stuck with the standard brushes

You don't double click brushes to open them. There's two ways of installing them, the easiest way is to just drag and drop them into the right folder:
My Computer> Local Disc (C:)> Program Files> ...
From then on you just need to find the GIMP folder and in that, the brushes folder. You can just go Start> Search and find the folder that way.

Well.. my answer is kinda like Falcon's
(If you use Windows)
What I do is download the brushes. When they pop up on my computer I copy all the files. I minimize that screen, and go to:
Start > My Computer > Local Disk C > Program Files > GIMP-2.0 > Share > GIMP > 2.0 > Brushes

Once I am in that brushes folder I copy all the brushes I just downloaded there. ^_^
