Graphics Camp!

Anyone up for a graphics camp?

What is it?

It's more like a school where a couple of people you know tells you more about gfx.

Whos the teachers?

- Terra (Teaches the "Q" class)
- Fury (Teaches the "W" class)
- Hiphop (Teaches the "W" class as well)

Differences in class?

Q are for people who already know the filters and all the tools are at and such.
W are for people who are still learning where such and such are at.

What are you going to be teaching?

The Q classes are gonna be learning
Smudging, C4Ding, Layer Adjustments, Filtering, Manipulating, etc...

The W classes are gonna be learning
Smudging, Filtering, Coloring, Masking, Flow

When is it?

It 'might' be every other day for 2 weeks starting next week, MAYBE
it will maybe start at 4:30 pm Forum Time.

How do you get placed?

You fill out this application if you are interested in joining and we will place you in a certain class.

The camp will also be taking place in IRC, if you wish to join but not sure how to use IRC we'll show you.

Jovi your sigs aren't all that bad and your going to be placed in W class with Fury.
Your gonna learn more variety in styles in such.

Experience: About 4-5 months of Photoshop and 5-6 months of Gimp. Work posted done by photoshop cs3 extended. But I would say I learned the use everything I need to use photoshop starting from use of c4d's to filter's, map's, curves, masking, depth using colors(Ray mustang one) and real life face manipulation and digital image manipulation. I would also add that I have a bad use of text.

Well PS and Gimp aren't TOO different besides a few effects, gradients, and lighting.. I've basically been learning off PS tuts besides maybe 1 or 2 good Gimp ones... D:

question, how will these classes work? how will we be taught?

Instead of holding them at different times, I think it would be great if teacher and student could schedule times to be on. I would love to participate, but 4:30 EST...that just doesn't work for me. I stay after school every day. I don't get home until about 6:30, and that's on non-game days. Add homework and dinner to the time I get home, and...there goes my evening. When the homework is light, I am able to get online during the week, but unfortunately, 4:30 doesn't work for me at all.

But yea, who am I to question the system?
