I am new to photoshop.
I am new to photoshop and i was wondering if any body can teach me the basics of photoshop. I played around with gimp 2.4 before but I got photoshop cs3. I knew that photoshop had a few more things then gimp so I thought why not get it, but when i got it I was confused. I need help big time. I am not sure if I posted this thread in the right place though.

=P lol im kinda new at it too...
for some time iv been using Corel Painter X n hav been relying on the blending to color my stuff. hav u atleast found out that part? ill try to help ya since i need help too. |

Thanks HipHop.The tuts were of some use to me. Though I am still learning I think my sigs might be good, Though I haven't figured out how to put an image onto photoshop so I will stay with gimp for putting renders on.

okie but if you want to put images on photoshop it's select all(Ctrl+A) and copy(ctrl+C) then just paste (ctrl+V)

Oi, another thing you can do for renders is to go to file > place > *then choose the render you want to use*
That's what I usually do.

Another thing is that I have been reading a couple of the guides and I am not really sure what a stock is. I am practicing to make sigs but I am just going to see how my first one on photoshop turns out.
edit: yay my first sig on photoshop. it didn't turn out all that great though.
