need assistance (ani. avi)

I have a problem I have spent 2 hrs tring to figure how to get my avi animation to work on NW this is what it really looks like

I use gimp to make it and I have reduced it to its lowest memory to get it to animate on my avi spot.

I throw all my images into photobucket to get it here but somehow it will not animate my GIF images for the avi spot on my profile. I just wanna know

If I'm using the wrong format....

Or if I'm using the wrong website to do my gif avi's Plz help......your help will very appreciated and thank you for anyone can help me with my perdicament.

uh, wait... you have the gif file working on the post, but not for your avy?

try uploading it from your computer. that worked for me.

otherwise, check the link you're using or redo the animation, upload it again, and see if it works. unfortunately, I don't know how gimp's animations work

I had tried that I even went back and made the animation go at super fast speeds but when I uploaded it off my computer I get the same result (my avi right now) and when using the link to photobucket i get the same results. that one avi (on pro) stays on one frame as it does on the computer before previewing the picture.

and whats weird the photobucket gif plays but when I try to apply it here I get the same thing I have to use the direct link code to get it in there

Well, I checked the properties of both pics (the one in your avi, and the one in the post.) they're two different files, I think that the site might have resized the avi without you noticing, and might have gotten rid of the animation at the same time. Just a guess.

Manually resize the other one (the one that works) so that it's in forum standard size within 135x135, and then try uploading it again. that might work.

the file needs to be 135x135 or less
