A Second Wi-Fi Platinum Event!?!
Hot off the heels of the successful Secret Key giveaway over the WiFi Connection, Nintendo has announced in CoroCoro of another WiFi Event for Platinum players only. From December 1st 2008 to January 15th 2009, you will be able to download the Member's Card over the Mystery Gift over WiFi Connection feature in Pokémon Platinum. This item gives you access to the house in Canalave City. You go to sleep in there and awake on New Moon Island where a level 50 Darkrai takes residence. Once captured, you will also get details about Darkrai's backstory. We'll bring more on these coming to be regular WiFi Connection Events soon
Source Wow! That is all I can say along with the fact I am pretty happy with this. It'd be nice if they added it to D/P too but this is still good that they are finally utilising the Wi-fi for Mystery Gifts!

did they even give that event in the us i know that there was the darkrais but i didntt know if they gave the oaks letter,or the flute or the key out in the U.S.

Uhm no fair? This is 100% BS.
I mean they have had diamond and pearl since 2006! And platinum just came out and IT's getting the Darkrai? Well this is just plain wrong. I mean I already have the pokemon, but having the items too would be nice ;__; |

I have Platinum and the Wifi mystery gift works on there too, so it's just as long as you have the game.

Im a little mad about this, i want to get those items... but platinum isnt released for US yet... if this events werent platinum only

anyone can hack a darkrai and say they got platnium and use that darkrai in battle u wont kno
they can just lie by using action replay and catching it this event is stupid

Are you really that stupid? No-one can just hack he Darkrai and say they got it from Platinum because they will all be Japanese, so thats one part out the way. With the amount of Platinum users in Japan this will negate the need to hack for one when they can get it legitimately.
Therefore this event is not stupid and will damn well help the people who can't make Darkrai event in <insert generic major city in USA/Japan/UK/Australia> because they live many miles away from there. So think before you speak, because this is actually one of the better things to come out of having a Wi-Fi event.
