Do you think Everything Goes Tournaments are needed?

Just like the title people, do you think we should have "Everything Goes Tournaments", you know, with no rules or clauses or just stick to the Usual Normal ones with rules and clauses?


Well... at i least i do, there are many people here who want to battle anyway they want, and since this is a gamers site, why not, the people who would enter them would know the risks about AR and hacked pokemon, though it would be a rather good idea to give a warning before the tournament starts, like "No Whining" or "No reclaims to anyone if you lose"

this is somewhat of a sujestion i had in the 'uber tourny' thread. the thing is that these kinds of things would be open ground for AR and pokesav which many people would be put off by that sort of thing. overall though it could be interesting

Ughhhh....

Clauses are for a reason. They are in place to prevent conflict and promote competative battling. Having an, "Everything Goes Tourney" would just be pointless.

i don't see the point of having a competitive environment that gives awards for winning, such as a tournament, but have it be largely based on chance.


if you wish to battle with no clauses, then do so. it can be a fun and rewarding experience.

but the reason clauses exist are so that more skill of the trainer is presented so a more accurate depiction of the player's individual skills can be determined by the outcome of the match.

if we had a tournement like this, we might as well just flip coins for the winner.

it all lies on the player themselfs if they want to have no rules then by all means go ahead but when it comes to competative battling be prepared to show ur skills =P
