Gliscor or Weavile?

Just started thinking about to take some new elites to my team and started thinking: which one's better? Here's some my thinkings:

Weavile is good, cuz:
-Base attack 120
-Base speed 125
-egg moves for Sneasel: Ice Punch and Crush Claw
-I already have one spare Razor Claw for new breed.

Gliscor is good, cuz:
-Base attack 95 (that's good, right?)
-Base speed 95 (is that good, too?)
-Base defence 125
-Move tutor moves:Thunder Fang, Ice Fang and Fire Fang, Poison Jab
-Egg moves for Gligar: Wing Attack, Cross Poison, Night Slash
-From TM to be inherited: Poison Jab, Stone Edge, EQ.

So, I want some information which is best, and some suggestions for following:

1. Nature
2. Characteristic
3. Moveset
4. EVs
5. some other stuff I've missed?

Thank you for your cooperation.

CUT!

And if you can't take your noses off from your UBER pokemons, you can take them to form a line behind me and kiss my... it's still on? WELL POST IT YOU IDIOT!

Not necessarily. Because of the fact that Gliscor has the defence to back up being able to take a hit as well as actual attack stats, get a swords dance up with him and he is a fairly capable sweeper. Weavile has better overall speed & attack yes, but the element of suprise from a Gliscor sweeper is astounding.

You can't compare 'statistics' on two different styled Pokémon, as one serves one purpose, and one does the other.

I'd go with Gliscor, and it's not so insainly counterable, sure it's double ice is a pain, but if anything a wall is more reliable than a sweeper.

The best way to think about it is the weakness' on your team. Depending on what you already have on there effects what you need, it's probably best for you to tell us what you already have, so we can tell you that way.

Here are the most common sets from Smogon ;

Code:
Weavile
Revenge Killer
Jolly
40 HP / 252 Atk / 216 Spe
~ Pursuit
~ Ice Punch / Ice Shard
~ Brick Break
~ Night Slash / Aerial Ace
Code:
Gliscor
Physical wall
Impish
252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def
~ Earthquake
~ Roost
~ Ice Fang / Aerial Ace
~ Stealth Rock / Knock Off / Taunt
To be honest, I'm not a fan of weavile, he's always been a revenge killer, but too easily countered, I'm yet to try my hand at gliscor, but I'll tell you how it goes

What I do know is that Gliscor can counter Heracross like a wall can a car (Despite it not being very common anymore), I once met a swords dance Gliscor, but I wouldn't reccomend it, as after 3 dances (That'd be max attack) didn't dent my Blissey, I'm not sure whetever that is to do with bad IVs or EVs, but I still wouldn't go with it, because any decent player (I wasn't) would've countered you quicker than you can say "Oh, shit wait!".

I love how people post these things without giving any indication of what the rest of the team is. I don't see how anyone can make a suggestion about which to use without knowing what the rest of the team is doing.

As for my personal opinion (which will be useless to you, since I have no idea what your team needs) I would pick Gliscor, but that's because I love my walls. Fragile 'mon just aren't reliable enough for me and Weavile dies pretty easily, especially with SR on the field and it has a rather large number of weaknesses to common types seen in the metagame. However, anti-lead Weavile can be pretty annoying so you might want to look at that but again, I can't really suggest anything without more information.

they do completely different things.

and, like Rucari said, their usefulness is dependent upon the rest of your team.

Exactly, I use gliscor with a jolly nature maxed speed and a choice scarf. You'd be surprised how many fast but weak threats (infernape, gengar, weavile) get knocked out. Gliscor can be an SD passer when Weavile is an SD sweeper. Yet Gliscor can take hits and Weavile cannot. So depends if you team needs more sweepage or wallage = /

Electivire
EV's: 252 ATK / 4 HP / 252 SPD
Moveset:
T-punch
Cross Chop
Ice Punch
Giga Impact

Garchomp
EV's: 252 ATK / 4 HP / 252 SPD

Shadow Claw

Darkrai:

Moveset:

Dream Eater

Deoxys (ATK FORM)
EV's: 252 DEF / 4 SP ATK / 252 SP DEF (I screwed with him)
Moveset:

Shadow Ball

Next one is under conisderation/training:
Pidgeot

Now I started to train a new Gligar but I'm open for suggestions, too.

Now, I've never played in the Uber metagame but that is one strange Uber team lol. o_O Pidgeot? Seriously?

Giga Impact is a terrible move by the way, as it gives your opponent the opportunity to set up on you while you do nothing for one whole turn. Fly is also awful for the same reasons.

I noticed you had a lot of same-type moves on some Pokemon (Pidgeot has three flying type moves!) this is bad. You should use those moveslots for other types of attacks for more coverage.

It seems like you need to do some research before you start building a team.. I suggest you read some of the guides since I'm too lazy to repeat all the stuff they say.

I usually set my team in the way that there's pokemon's I mostly like. And Fly is for transporting. My friend suggested to use Dragonite, not Pidgeot, but then I said that it would make my team too much Dragon Typed. I also am training Infernapes and Swamperts, so I have some to choose.

EDIT: and as for Giga Impact, I would teach Electivire a Earthquake but since Elekid can't get one trough breed, it would be waste of TMs to teach it EQ.

Fly for transporting? So this isn't a competative battling team... just in game?

In which case it doesn't matter what your team does since you can win with anything in game.
