If its not a regular pokemon game, It had better at least be able to send some event pokemon like the recent Ranger game did.

That alone would make it worth buying for me.

A remake of GSC would be interesting, but I'd prefer a whole new region.
Advance was the only generation with 2 regions, but only because of the Red/Blue remakes.

But that's not the point. First of all I HIGHLY doubt it will be a Gold and/or Sliver remake, the only reason they really remade red and blue because they wanted to market the fact our Pokemon collections are missing the original 150 pokemon in the biggest profiting way possible. Pokemon XD and Collisum already took care of the Gold and Sliver Pokemon.

I'll tell you what I'm hoping it is, a sequel to Pokemon XD. To avoid past mistakes..... please don't get mad at me G&S fans. But I would much rather have a fresh new look at one of my favorite Pokemon branches of all time then a Pokemon remake. Pokemon XD was a huge improvement over the original and they are slightly over-due for a Wii Pokemon Adventure game.... I think as long as they add new Shadow moves, maybe a plot twist of some sort, and actually make the adventure in a new world, then that game would be more fun than the original Pokemon XD.

im not saying yellow didnt deserve to be remade, i agree that it is better than red/blue/firered/leafgreen

but instead of just remking yellow, they remade blue and green

if they are doing remakes for johto, then they will just do as they did with firered and leafgreen, they wilremake gold and silver but not crystal

i'm being cautiously optimistic on this one. if i get my hopes up too high and hope for GS remake (the best game EVER) and it's like pokemon pinball or something, i might kill myself.

then if i am expecting pinball and we get GS remake, i'll totally... not kill myself.

Well, if it is a Pokémon Gold/Silver remake, then I won't be getting it. I have Pokémon Silver for my Gameboy Pocket in perfect working order, so I don't see why I need the same game. On the other hand though, if it is a new Pokémon game for the Wii, I might look into it. After all, I need to get some more use out of my Wii.

NOTE: This just applies for me. If it is a Gold/Silver remake, then I'm happy for all the people that will be pleased by that

OMG. This is quite possibly the most epic news ever.
Of cource it is G/S remakes, I've only been saying they're inevitable for about 2 years lol. Both the games and the anime have hinted at them waaaay too many times for it not to be the case.

but yes having G/S remakes would be awesome..... question is though would they be DS games or DSi vc.

This kid makes the most sense. As much as I would love to get a G/S remake (because I never got colosseum or XD or FR/LG) it would be more expected to see a Wii one as Jackit said.

Dustin: Probably not gonna be DSi VC, they haven't announced the idea, so we can't really expect it.
