OMGWTH Battle Frontier/Wifi Rant Thread

With parts of the battle frontier being so haxxy, something extremely unfair can happen that makes you want to throw your DS at the wall. This a thread for ranting about what happened to you in the Battle Frontier. ;D

Also, if something extremely haxxy happens to you on wifi, you can rant here. :3

Oh god, I died at so many challenges because of bad hax.

My most distinct memory was doing the Battle Hall with a LO Tyranitar and I was doing the ice portion when I faced a Walrein. My Stone Edge misses, it hails, my Stone Edge misses again, and Walrein's Blizzard froze me. And it kept attacking me until I died.

So yeah. D:

Getting hit by confusion, 5 times in a row. Not being able to move due to paralysis for 3 turns in a row. Getting flinch 4 times in a row. Luck hax, parahax, flinch hax. = haxxy

Sandslash's quick claw activates again and he uses sandstorm. Ivysaur uses giga drain, but it misses. (Sand veil in SS raises sandslash's evasion) Sandslash uses Earthquake and it 1KO's my Ivysaur. I send out Magmar so I can weaken him a little so my Swellow can finish him off and then sweep with facade + toxic orb. Magmar uses Flamethrower, but it misses. Sandslash 1KO's with rock slide... I send out swellow. I might get a critical hit or something, but since it looks like god hates me right now that's not likely. Sandslash's quick claw activates and he kills Swellow with rock slide. ._____. So, yeah, I hate the battle factory. D:<

And you know what? I remember losing three streaks in one day (at Factory, Castle, and Arcade).

God I hate BF hax. >(

I was doing great in the Battle Hall. I was using Togekiss-Scarf had 142 wins. I ran into an Articuno, which Blizzarded me to death.

I learned my lesson. Next time, I eliminated all the Electric, Ice and Stone pokemon first. After several failed starts (Electric kept stopping me.) I finally got to 148 wins. I only needed one more win and I'd face the Matron again and have totally beaten the Hall. The only ranks left were Flying 9 and 10. Fortunately, I did not run into Articuno again. It was a simple Staraptor. Fearing it was running a Focus Sash, I opted for Air Slash instead of Hidden Power Ice. Staraptor survived with 1 HP left without a Focus sash, and activated its Attack-boosting berry. Then it used Brave Bird and 1HKOed my Togekiss, knocking itself out in the process. Bah.

Battle Hall: Last battle. I choose Dark rank 10, thinking it'll be an easy win.

Me: Gengar
Opponent: Weavile

Not worried, I proceed to Focus Blast it. That's when it happened.

It was scarfed, survived, and hit me with a dark claw. Still thinking I can win, I try to thunderbolt it, only to learn another hard lesson; all weaviles have Ice Shard.

I was facing a person on wifi.He mentioned he cold beat me with a magikarp.He didn't mention it was hacked.

at the end of the battle he says he doesn't hack.he said his magikarp learned judgement at lvl 92.he also says splash is a OHKO if it is used on an even number turn.he ALSO said that tackle had 150 power.I'm like ".........STFU"


later I wanted to trade for the magikarp,but I really wanted to see it's stats.when I looked,it had 999 of EVERYTHING.Then I turned the game off.......

7th battle. One pokemon remains on each side. My Electivire vs. opponent's miltank. E-vire uses Cross Chop and misses. Miltank curses. E-vire uses Cross Chop and misses again. Miltank curses. E-vire uses Cross Chop and misses a third time. Miltank uses EQ. I curse.

Well I lost on the 51st match, which was really annoying. I don't recall what happened. One story I do remember was when I wathced my friend Nappy play on Wi-Fi he was Critted four times in a row, and in the same match was flinched nine times in a row.
