Sorry if this isn't the place to put this, but This is my first time in this section, so bear with me.
What level should my pokemon be around for Cyrus in the distortion world?
I tried with my 40-41 team, but got owned. lol
now they're at 43-44, but judging by the previous match, that probably isn't high enough.
I don't EV train, I don't breed.
Just need a little gameplay help. Also, any tips on catching giratina without wasting my precious master ball would be appreciated.

Whatever level Cyrus's pokemon are on should be the level your pokemon are on and to not waste your master ball just weaken Giratina until his HP gets into the red and then start throwin ultra balls. Giving giratina a status condition can also help in capturing it. Hope I was of assistance =)

meh...was hoping for bit more than the obvious, but now that I think about it... that's all that there probably is to it.
Although about lv. 50 is really high. @_@

Can a pokemon have a 0 iv?

And can you work out a pokemons ivs by hand?

Yes, i think ive seen one with 0.

No Assumining you mean change a pokemons ivs.


Easier way to catch giratina is to Lower hp to red, making it asleep or have it paralyzed. I recommend Dusk balls.


Easy way to beat cyrus is have a strong electric, fighting and fire. ( i think)

I have another question: Is shuckle a good pokemon as a defensive stoper/wall/whatever you call it? I know it has high defence and special defence but wanted to know if it was really that good.

According to Marriland, Magnemite has egg moves (even though it is genderless and can only breed with ditto), such as mirror move and steel wing.

How do I go about getting those? :\

It has the highest base defense stat, but it's countered by a really low HP stat, so it wouldn't be that much of a gain. lol

i was thinking. when a pokemon evolves and gets a new ability out of 2 choices, its the choice random or fated. like if a turn the game off and try again, will i get the same rasult?

It's fated.

For example, if a Rhydon has a rock head ability, when it evolves it will have the solid rock ability when it's rhyperior. But if it has a lightningrod ability when it's a rhydon, it will have a lightningrod ability still when it's a rhyperior.

It can't learn egg moves. You must've looked at it wrong or Marriland is stupid. Or both. x]

It's more of a sponge. It can't really hit back, but it can stall with toxic, knock of people's items, and locks people in with moves forcing them to switch.

So yeah, it's good. You just have to use it right and it will be very effective.
