Another Metroid Prime Hunters?

Do you think that Nintendo will release another Metroid game for the DS? Maybe not necessarily another Hunters game, but just another Metroid game of the same style for the DS (or DSi for that matter)?

MPH had a lot of potential to be a great game. The online play is better than most DS games offer and while the single player wasn't the best, a sequel or another game could do much better.

I'd just like to see another portable Metroid game where I can enter death matches and have some Metroid to play on the go. No one is on MPH anymore. Thoughts?

Well, the Prime series is over...but I do think making a classic style Metroid on the DS would be perfect.

Well, I know that, but in the same style. It doesn't necessarily have to be a Prime game for it to be Metroid Hunters.

I do agree with you, though. I'd like to see a classic 2D game, as well. Something along the lines of Super Metroid or Metroid Fusion would be spectacular (Metroid Dread ftw).

Agreed. I do wish that a new classic metroid would come out. I really loved Zero Mission on the gba. Zero Mission is pretty much my fave.

Id like to see something like Zero Mission on the ds totally.

Zero Mission was good, but I don't see why they'd remake a remake. I'd personally like to see a Super Metroid remake or a Metroid Fussion sequel. I hope they could actually continue the storyline instead of inserting games between already-existing plots.

Well, because there was only a bit of narrative in the early Metroid games, there is a lot about Samus and the galaxy she lives that we really aren't aware of. I think once we get a good foundation of the universe Metroid takes place in, then we'll get some cool new stuff continuing Samus' adventure.

Let me ask you this:

Why do they remake the pokemon games over and over again like the Sinnoh region and all?

They remake the pokemon games and the difference in most of the remakes is cause the regions are transfering from the gba to ds with all new features and gameplay using the touch screen..

Pretty much, Id like to see Zero Mission remade onto the ds. Make it totally new and revolutionized in gameplay and graphics to suit the ds family and it core fanbase. Pretty much any game from the metroid family or gba family entirely is good enough to be remade as long it can be remade in accordance to using touch screen.
