DSi = GSC Remake?

Think about it for a second.
What did they do with Mario Kart?
When it was about to be released, they put MK64 on the VC.
Now, the DSi Has been announced to have DLC.
When GSC is released as DLC, could that mean that a GSC remake is just around the corner?

I think Super Mario Kart is a shoo-in for DSWare. ^^

Oh, but yes, I wouldn't go as far to say a remake, but a re-release for sure, i'm guessing the DS i's equivilent of VC will focus more on Game Boy and possibly even GBA games.
Perhaps a re-release, but with a few extras, like being able to transfer your pokes to D/P/Pt?

Yup, that's what I heard too... that Nintendo isn't going make remakes of Gold & Silver... that's right. I also agree with that statement... Super Mario Kart really is the best MK game ever..... I know this myself personally because I played that game at one time when I was little.... I thought it was very cool.

I welcome any and all remakes or rerelease of classic/playable games

I would prefer remakes so that features from newer games are compatible with these 'older' games

Seems more like a DS discusion thread to me so I moved it here. I hope that the DSi is worth it and the games that come out for it are better 3D rendered games than the DS is. Not that I do not enjoy my DS but how stupid would it be if the DSi was no more powerful than the DS....then again the Wii is not that much more powerful than the GC is either.

There wasn't one for the NES but there was one for SNES and it was the first MK game.
