Good but Bad DS
Ok well I was spending the night in phoenix and some idiot left my DS on the curb of the bathtub and it fell and the shower head was pouring on high pressure on the DS since it fell. So I dried it off and when I came out of the Shower all dry and stuff and the DS was completely dried. I turned it on and it worked fine. I didn't pack the Charger since it was fully charged. So as I came to yuma I went to the Subway/Chicken Restaurant/ Ice Cream Shop/Gas station/ Convenience Store and I try to turn on My DS to entertain myself and it didn't even spark. It was completely Dried out. So I come back to yuma and charge my Ds but it the charge light stayed on for 2 seconds and then burned out. Now it keeps doing it. Is all hope lossed or can I fix it? Oh and just in case its a Nintendo DS Light.

I think all hope is lost. You could always phone Nintendo and ask a representative.

usually nintendo is better for these sorts of things, but I think the rechargable battery might just be damaged. Maybe they could replace it for you?

Well the last time I took out a DS battery my whole restarted. But its because the top screen of my old DS was coming off.

You have good example but I know for a fact that thats not the problem. I kept it charging for a few hours and then nothing. plus there isnt such thing as over charging

Nintendo is the best person to contact. Does it work with the charger plugged in?

It maybe Battery issues. My lil bro encountered a similar issue but he had an original. As stated previous to my post Nintendo may hold key to your decision

You might want to try the charger first. Better then buying a whole new DS.
I dropped my phone in water once, for some reason it's okay. I just had to clean the battery.

Well I know a guy who dropped his phone in a hotel pool like 5 years ago and he jumped in to get it since he was trying to give something back to my bro and I. Well basically im just saying that cell phone batteries are more encased making them hard to break. A DS battery on the other hand is protected by thin plastic and a nail
