How many people kept their DS after the purchase of their DSi

I really don't see the point of having two DS systems. It's a waste of money IMO. I'd say get the DSi if you don't already have a DS. The DSi is capable of doing the same as the previous DS, so why not sell the old DS to get some good cash...?

But anyeay I still have my DS Lite, and not getting a DSi anytime soon. Hell, I don't even play my DS Lite anymore cause I got out of hand-helds. I'm a console guy now. Not a fan of hand-helds ._.

Well, their are some things you cant do with a DSi because of the lack of a gameboy slot. Migrate pokemon and play guitar hero are the main ones.

I guess so. But they really shouldn't have dropped the GBA slot in the DSi... I don't even know WHY they made that decision...but that's why I think it's a little bit fail.

I've heard to make it smaller. And I think this is relavent, but I found a site with all the drawbacks for a lack of a gameboy slot. So if you see this thread, think before you answer the question:

Sadly, The GBA Slot is the thing that I miss the most on the DSi

I'm not getting one just yet, but if I was to get one eventually, I would keep my DS because then I wouldn't be able to play the other games.
