I haven't really played that series of game but I keep wondering up to it in most GAME stores and picking it up. But then I end up putting it down. What's the basic storyline of it?

I nabbed this game yesterday because I'm a huge sucker for Castlevania games, and it's a really solid title. Of course, it follows the same 2D platforming systems with leveling up involved to progress easier through the game, but it actually features something new for the handhelds. Instead of exploring one mansion, or parallel dimensions (the portraits), the player can actually go to a world map screen where they can choose where they want to go after unlocking the various places. The first destination is a monastary, then a village. After that, Shanoa must make her way to a island prison.

I highly suggest picking this one up, it's a great game, but I must say that it is a little tougher than previous games, in my opinion.
