New DS Game Makes Learning About the Economy "Fun"

What, you didn't think they'd stop at brain training, fitness and music games, did you? Nunh unh. Oh boy, Nintendo are just getting started. Next on their agenda is to make a game - or at least a piece of software - that makes learning about the economy fun. To repeat: that makes learning about the economy fun. They're partnering with Nikkei on the software, which is destined for the DS, and will have users "tapping on the devices' touch-screen panels and answering a series of quizzes" in the hope that "the software will attract young people who are interested in the economy".

Hopefully this signals the beginning of a trend in which Nintendo make games based on Iwata's favourite pastimes and hobbies, instead of that Miyamoto guy's.

HEY, ECONOMY IS FUN. Actually, no, not really. But they'll find some way to make it enjoyable, maybe. Or it could be a failure.

It's funny when they're releasing a game about the economy when they COULD be thinking of solutions to solve the global economic crisis. 0_0

Even if this game was to be released, who would buy it? I guess those interested in business would try it out, but I don't see many others purchasing it unless they're working towards having a complete DS library. Of course, a lot of people never thought they would be interested working in a medical field, but Trauma Center provided a fun experience, so we'll see what happens...

I dont see how that would be "fun"... It might be good to help the people in the economy today do some good... Maybe it could have pervented the great depression....lol

Lol, I don't see this game selling very many copies, and I'm not really sure how they are going to do this game.
