Official Recommend a DSi App Thread

With the addition of downloadable content for Nintendo's newest handheld videogaming device, your bound to find a new app you enjoy and would like to talk about it right? This is the official thread where you post your favorite DSi apps and why you would recommend a fellow friend into purchasing this new app. Please provide us with good points on why you like this certain DSi app and provide a short summary on what the app is, it's functions, points price, just try and be as descriptive as possible.

Rules For Posting

1. No spam like "Buy Dr.Mario cuz he rawks!11! XDXdXd" this is not an acceptable recommendation and gives no reason into considering to buy this app.

2. Please only post one App recommendation post per thread page! I do not want to see this thread get cluttered with double posts with your personal updated lists of apps, and changes. Edit your first post, or wait until this threads gets a new page then make your next post.

3. Keep app arguements out of this thread. I do not want to see a post like "Brain Age sucks, your weird dude!". It's fine in your post asking why you like this app so much though. I mean it is a "recommendation" thread, we all want to get info on some sweet apps.

4. Please don't make up apps just to get an easy post credit. This is a serious thread with people wanting to learn about new Dsi apps and items.

5. Have fun! Nintendo products are meant for enjoyment, so let's discuss great apps into, and have fun!

With hacking obviously to be affliated with the DSi I just ask when you post your recommendation put "Hacked" or something next to it so we know it is not found on the DSi Ware Shop. Well, it's time for me to shut up, have fun discussing apps and I hope you'll all enjoy this little thread.

DSi Web Browser.
The DSi Web browser is pretty cool. I tried Logging on to Nintendo pals/ Nintendo worlds
and everything worked except the chat so thats 4 1/2 stars for 1 website on the DSi web browser.
The speed was pretty good but it does depend on your wfc signal. So 5 for speed.
I don't really like the fact that it can't zoom out. I think that the zoom in is a little too far but I can't change it. There might be a zoom in/ zoom out button but I just haven't found it yet. I like all the tools. The one with a line and arrows pointing up and down swaps the screens so that you can drag around to where you want to go a little quicker. 5 stars for tools.
NO videos!! Youtube does not work!! You have to download the latest version of flash player. I don't want to try to do that and screw up my DSi.
The DSi WEB browser is beast!! you should get it!!

I know for a fact that both Sonic656 and myself are addicted to the inexpensive Bird & Beans game. It is only 200 DSi Points, and features WarioWare's Pyoro. It's very addicting, yet simple and challenging, and offers two different game modes. You control little Pyoro and eat the free-falling beans before they destroy the very ground you stand on. You earn points for eating beans, the sooner it's eaten, the more points. Every couple thousand points, you get an amazing power up bean (if you can catch it), with awesome effects.
If I were to reccommend anything, this would be it.

♪art style: aquos (i think thats how you spell it) puzzlegame!♪ for onlly 500 dsi points, you can have this challenging, but fun puzzle game! the point is to match three blocks together while the dive is sinking to the bottom of the ocean. as his air runs out darkness creeps closer towards him. you must keep the puzzle going before the darkness covers both screens!!! very fun!!!

the developer of birds and beans made a new game called paper plane towers (or sumtin like that). its EXTREMELY addictive and lots of fun ; 200 points. esentially its a slalom where you weave your paper plane back and forth between obsticles. heres a vauge diagram

"v" being the plane and the lines being obsticals. i had loads of fun with this game.

I like the Animal Crossing Caculator!
4 only 200 points, this special caculator not only does multiplication, addition, subtraction, and division...
It also can convert different factors like temperature, area, and many other confusing math stuff.
I say it is a must buy!

Mighty Flip Champs is a great puzzle game. Its a little pricey at 800 pts, but I think its worth it. Its quite addictive, and here are a lot of different levels. you have to navigate the mazes by walking left or right, and fliping to the other screen. its an epic game.

mario march of the minis its soo fun and it has a story like but its 800 points but still really fun!and u can make levels and post them on wifi

Mario VS. Donkey Kong is a great dsi game for 800 points.It seems a little pricey but when you think of it 800 points is 8 $.You can:Create maps,Download maps from other people WITHOUT! friend codes,Play the story,Share maps.You can do ALOT of stuff in this game.I would rate it 5/5!

I got 1,000 free points when buying the system, and spent 800 on M vs. DK, it was fun, but i couldnt decide what to spend the last 200 on,
Well i chose the ACCF clock. Yeah it seems stupid, but its really nice! It has alarms and such... I use it in the morning. Works really well and doesnt drain the battery! If you need an alarm on the go and have 200 points to spare, I would recommend this app, or maybe the Mario Alarm.
