Should I?
I'm not sure IDK how much I'd get for it though, any rough guesses? I hardly play it anymore, since I got my PSP. Plus there arent many GOOOOOOOD games out on DS atm. So my DS is just sat gathering dust

Well...do you know of all the games that are out/coming out for the DS? Too many times I see people say "nothing good is out or coming out for a specific console" and then when you list off a bunch of games that are good or look good, they never heard of them.
Anyways, Scribblenauts, Miles Edgeworth, Golden Sun DS, Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days, and LoZ: Spirit Tracks or just a few upcoming games that you might be interested in. But if you aren't, then I would still keep it. The DS Light can play Ds games, and GBA games, and there are ton of great GBA games. |

To answer the first question, trading in a DS Lite will get you 70-75 dollars. (I'm sorry I really don't know the UK system so I just gave you the amount in my country
Now, the second part of the question. Should you really trade in the DS Lite? That's up to you. I think it's great on the go for awesome GBA Games, Nice bright screen, and some awesome games. Kingdom Hearts, Scribblenauts, Proffesor Layton2, Bowser's Inside Story, a lot of new DS games are right around the corner/available. These will no doubt will DS classics. plus, it's always fun to kick back with a classic like Pokemon Ruby on the DS :P I'd keep it just for the fact the lite can do so much. It's obviously up to you though

On the other hand.. You can also upgrade to the DSi. If your not big into GBA games that is.. I personally have one, and its really fun! Internet, pictues, music, applications.. Its a fun system. Not to mention DSi ONLY games will start to appear before long...
But its all in what you want. Don't let people pressure you into doing something you dont want to. Don't go selling it if you think you might regretting it. Trust me, selling it, you will loooooose money. Big time. (cheapskate game stores... ) |

The dsi is only a few months old. Id keep it. Itll be awhile till something new from nintendo comes out. DSi is just like the wii, only difference is that its a handheld system and of course not motion sensing. The biggest improvement from ds to dsi is dsi points browser. It expands the game choices that you get; your not just limited to games that you buy in the stores like gamestop.

I sold mine about four months ago along with four DS games (yes, four was all my DS games. I had ten originally, but lost them all at a train station). I got like $96 GameStop store credit for it. I sold it cause I never play it. I'm not into hand-helds anymore, only home consoles.
If you really think you're not gonna play it anymore, then sure sell it. It's the conclusion I came across. If you're not playing it, why not get some money for it? But it's your decision. |
