What thing or things do you dislike most about Mario kart wii compared to previous MK releases?

For me it's that it forces 'teams' for battle mode. I'd rather it had an option for 1-4 vs battles (without a time limit, with balloons anyway). It would have made the old school SNES course 4 a bit more playable. As it is, I find battle mode to be just all around annoying, and it used to be my favorite aspect of the game.

I remember on the original "Super Mario Kart" that if you got hit by a shell or star or whatever then you would flash for a second or 2, this flashing made you invincible for a tiny period of time but allowed you to start moving again so that you had a better chance of avoiding the next attack, now this is gone your opponents, if they have the fire power, can keep shooting you again and again, now that is annoying

i have no proper complaints but the thing i miss the most is baby park lol i love the tune to it ^_^

yeah i realise this post is lame but i just thought id mention it because you gotta love baby park. it was like a battle mode, but also a race!

I haven't really got any complaints as I think MKW is a superb game, but I agree with some of the flexibility you mention with the battle option would be good. Might be difficult to manage online though?

I hate what they did to the battles. I hate the teams thing. I would rather go back to the old N64 days. Everybody versus everybody. And when a person was out they turned into a rolling bomb and could go after other players. Did I mention I hate the team thing?

I know for a fact that wasn't in SMK. lol I still play that with my good friend and its possible to kill with a star (or really fast luck drawing red shells) in a matter of seconds if you hit and rebound just right.

as for doing this online, it'd be no different than doing a 1v1 race with a friend as opposed to joining a regional or worldwide match for team play.

Only a couple of comlaints and there minor ones too.

-Items : Thunder Cloud should be removed and blue shells shouldn't hit you while your in the air. Thunder Clouds should be replaced by Boos

Battle: Teams are nice but there should be a option for teams. So it should be everyone for them selves. And why did they take out that Shine game and the bomb game?

I have no complaints except that I wish that would have made better selection with the retro courses. And if they had put in the ORIGINAL kart, that would be awesome.

Better courses, why the ._. did they put bikes in it?
Items are too overpowered
Cloud fails
Battles should not have teams unless you want them too ( i.e mkds)

that shortcut on grumble is really retarded and any other shortcut like it
