Blue Shell Hacker

Just raced a guy named Blue Shell.

Boy was that name appropriate, he hacks (which is obvious as soon as you start the race) as he constantly shoots blue shells (like right from the start of the race). If you see him, be ready to leave the race immediately, unless you like that sort of thing. Though, if you hang onto a golden mushroom and just stay behind him the whole game, you should be able to beat him in the end.

Still, this is what makes online games no fun for everyone, why do people have to do stuff like this, just to prove they can?

I have now run into people who use Bullet Bill constantly, Mushrooms and the aforementioned Blue Shell. Looks like the word on how to hack the game has got around.

Question: in battle mode, is it legitametly possible to get a blue shell?

Actually, no, you can get a blue shell in battle if your team is losing by a lot. However, this was in Regional Vs Race.

Yes it is I've gotten a blue shell in battle mode before I think it homes in on the person on the other team that is doing the best.....

As for the thread at hand.... WT*? Why do people do these things You know this reminds me of a funny story. In the banana peel competition there was this guy called IHack@U or something like that who had a ****** time of 0:00.001 way to be super obvious that your hacking dude. Of course Nintendo took care of that guy but there were still people who did it in times below 0:01 I believe that made it as winners. Check the rankings 1st tournament of August I believe it is to see for yourselves

It's not like creators are to blame for hacks, there is no way to make a game invulnerable to hackers. Hackers will always find a way to beat the coding in the game to do what they want. It's just inevitable. It's just unfortunate that there are tards out there who think that it's fun. In my opinion if they want to a play a game where they see who can hack the best, make a game where that is the case. Don't ruin it for those who can't hack the game, or more than that, don't want to hack the game and prefer to play it the way it was intended to be played.

I mean, over the top shortcuts are one thing, but this is blatantly doing something that requires you to change the way the game is written.
