i guess things only matter to you if they matter to you XD

its just a matter of what ppl care about i guess D:

but i figure any1 who has it high cares about it, seeing as they work on it again and again. i dont know many people who didn twork on their VR and have it over 9000.

its still nice to have and to say that you have that much vr when not many people do d:

9000+vrs ftw!

Come one, don't put words into my mouth... I NEVER said a game was more important than real life...

I just said it was important.. there are various levels of importance.... and I'm simply pointing out the fact that I don't believe that VR does not matter to yous guys (those who said it doesn't)... because.. I don't believe for a second that when you D/C and lose 300 points.. you simply go,

"Well, golly gee, at least I got to race for 1 lap of that race, sure was fun!"

Come on.

We are on a video game site and compete in tournaments, which means you at least take a little bit of pride in your video gaming... MEANING that how you rank in your video games, probably means a little bit of something to you.. and, since VR is the only empirical means of ranking yourself against others (without actually racing them).. it matters...

(even if just a little)

Cause, I know I make sure to hang on to my 9999 each time I get it... at least for a little bit =)

Not really. . . I say that because I only care about my Vr/Br for if its high enough you seem to have a better chance of connecting with more skilled players. Other than that I could care less about it. Your as good as you are you know? And numbers cant determine your skillz.

I try to maintain at least 9000 VR.
I'm happy I got to 9000 because I don't think I can maintain 9500+ without my bad luck making it drop by an insane amount. =[

I'm up and down in VR, so I don't know whether to care or just keep racing for the fun of it.

I'm in the 8000+ and I wanna keep it, soo....guess I Do care about it, to an extent.

I hate losing a ton of VR due to the strong items of the losing, but overall I care more about my wifi Wins/Losses as they paint a more accurate picture IMO. Besides, I like numbers.

No. It doesn't matter at all. My VR jumped up pretty quick at the start, and I had a hard time finding people to play with me. It's just a game. Mr. Nintendo is not going to send you a cookie for having 9999 VR, so why is it a big deal? My advice is to find friends you enjoy racing with and have fun.

This game has a lot 2 do wi luck aswell, after ive been bombed by 3 blue shells on th last corner and come last,it sh*ts me 2 loose my points.i prefer time trials to show how i'm goin. Im at 7400

I thought it's to unlock someone but Ive notice i cant unlock someone with it so...I don't care of the points anymore. I might as well just keep the 6000vr

Are u serious? No cookies! No wonder i dont care what my vr is. My hubby says that my vr doesnt show my skillz cause i usually race as his guest.
